(He smirked back at her, pressing his lips to hers again, his mind brought to her from the excitement of the mission.) Only one day for the honeymoon? That just doesn't seem fair.. (He had a devilish expression as he nipped at her neck, kneading the skin at her hips lightly as he spoke.) Let's get married tomorrow and then spend the rest of the week on our honeymoon.. (He teased, lifting his head to kiss her cheek and then her lips lightly.) That's how it should be.. (He said in response to her statement about the baby listening already, shifting to take her hand in his, leading her into the living room and guiding her to sit on the sofa with her, drawing her into his arms to tuck her head under his chin. He knew that she was upset, but he hoped she couldn't tell just how hard it was becoming for him. Sure, he was excited to go on his assignment, but not now.. not when he wanted to be there with her while their marraige was so new.. not when they had a baby on the way. It just didn't seem fair, and hearing her speak of all the things she had to do was slowly filling him with a dispair that was making his stomach feel tight and his breath feel short.) Yeah.. there is a lot to do in a short amount of time. (He murmured, thinking about how he wasn't going to be there to congratulate her on her speaking engagement, or to be excited when her parents found out about the baby and wanted to congratulate them.. or worst of all there was a chance he wouldn't be there to hold his child when it was born, or to hold her when she was in pain.. it was horrible and it was killing him inside.)
