I am so sick of "everything being a sickness", and my lack of feeling "sorry" for individuals that can't control their own bodies and minds. When I was in Vegas, I watched person after person leave town, most with bankruptcy, because they thought they could go to the town and become a rich person. In many cases, it's not addiction, but the greed that takes over and the feel of a "lucky" streak coming in.

I agree on everything you said. Nason's also knew the rules and took advantage of the fact that they KNEW no one would do anything substantial to hurt them. It's like the people that go to Tower News to get a pack of smokes, and stay in there for 2 hours. Yah, right..like we don't know why the car has been in the parking lot for that long, and where you ARE while in there.

Let's just go back to the days of "prohibition" and take EVERYTHING off the shelves that can be addicting. We can live like the book, "A Brave New World" and not have to ever worry about ANYTHING harming us, or taking control of our bodies or minds.

Now, had they fined Nason's up the ying yang, and paid our water bills that skyrocketted after a few illegal turns of a meter wheel, I might have been less upset at the fact that they got away with breaking the law. If it was you or I caught doing anything like that, you know we would be sharing bunks in jail. I wonder if Nason's delivers there? Hmmmmm....

Let's get real. If we had more people that thought this way, we would have less on Social Security that were getting their free Methadone treatments, and giving the money to those that truly need it! Sickness my BUTT! Excuse is more like it!

My opinionated rant of the day..thanks, Math Girl :)
