] Date Posted: 08:28:40 07/17/06 Mon Hi everyone! here's one thing that bothers me.. Diba po God loves us. So, bakit may calamities and tragedies na nangyayari sa country natin? Yes, oo nga po.. Siguro kaya may calamities and tragedies kasi tayo rin ung causes... we cut the trees, etc. Pero pano po ung mga little children na nadadamay? are they worth it? Bakit po kelangan sila pa ung magsuffer sa mga nagawa ng mga nakakatanda? So, where is God nung time na kelangan siya nung mga batang to? They are helpless and innocent. Date Posted: 08:40:22 07/17/06 Mon You're right, robyn, about your observations and getting confused. Some things are really hard to be understood. They appear contradictory to the notion that God is love. Evil does not come from God because He is the source of good. Among natural evils are wars, calamities, earthquakes, famine, etc. They are a result of our fallen world, we're still awaiting to be fully redeemed when Christ returns. The other side of the issue is man's freedom. Lahat kontrolado ni Lord, isa lang ang hindi nya kinontrol -- yung "will" ng tao. When man wills to disobey God, it removes protection of God and so we experience evil and bad things. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
