LIFE IN GENERAL
EPISODE XX: HOLLYWOOD PART 2
OPENING SCENE: ASHE IS WALKING THROUGH A GARDEN WITH HIS HANDS IN HIS POCKETS AND HIS HEAD DOWN. IT’S DARK OUTSIDE. ASHE STOPS BY A FLOWER BED. THE FLOWERS LOOK LIKE THE ONES THAT HE GAVE ELLIE IN GREECE. ASHE KNELT DOWN TO PICK ONE OF THE FLOWERS. HE HELD IT GENTLY AND SMELLED IT. HE HEARD A MAN CRYING FOR MERCY IN THE DISTANCE. ASHE LOOKED UP AND TRIED TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTION OF THE SOUND. HE CAME TO A SMALL WOOED AREA. IN THE DISTANCE HE SAW A MAN DRESSED IN NAVY JEANS AND A BLACK T-SHIRT. THE MAN WAS STUMBLING AWAY FROM SOMETHING. HIS FACE WAS CUT UP AND HIS JEANS WERE TORN. THE MAN TRIPPED OVER A TREE ROOT AND CRASHED TO THE GROUND. SUDDENLY THE TREES’ ROOTS CAME TO LIFE AND FORMED A DOME-BARRED CAGE AROUND THE MAN. THE MAN STUMBLED TO HIS FEET AND LOOKED AROUND HIM FOR AN ESCAPE ROOT. ASHE STEPPED BACK IN SHOCK. WE HEAR A WOMAN SPEAK MOCKINGLY TO THE MAN.
WOMAN
What’s wrong? Afraid you’re finally going to get what’s coming to you?
ASHE’S EYES WIDEN AS HE SEES THAT THE WOMAN IS ELLIE. ELLIE STRUTS UP TO THE MAN IN THE CAGE.
ELLIE
You’ve been a bad boy. And now...
THE ROOTS AROUND THE MAN WENT BACK INTO THE GROUND. ELLIE SMILED AND LOOKED UP AT THE TREE BRANCHES. THE MAN LOOKED AT ELLIE WITH A TERRIFIED EXPRESSION THEN HE LOOKED UP TO SEE WHAT SHE WAS LOOKING AT. A VINE FELL FROM NO WHERE AND WRAPPED AROUND THE MAN’S LEGS, THEN PULLED HIM IN THE AIR. HE WAS SUSPENDED UPSIDE DOWN, HIS HEAD LEVEL WITH ELLIE’S.
ELLIE
Are you afraid?
ELLIE SMILED AND TOOK A STEP CLOSER TO THE MAN. SHE WHISPERED MOCKINGLY TO HIM

ASHE YELLED STEPPING INTO VIEW. HE JOGGED OVER TO ELLIE. HER HAIR WAS DARK BROWN AND HER EYES SEEMED DARKER THAN NORMAL
ASHE

ELLIE

ASHE

ELLIE
Him and some of his friends thought they could corner me and have a little fun. They tried...but now it’s my turn to have a little fun
THE MAN STRUGGLED AND TRIED TO FREE HIMSELF

ELLIE GAVE A PLAYFUL SMILE AND LOOKED UP

ASHE STARED AT HER IN SHOCK AND HORROR. ELLIE LOOKED AT HIM

SHE MOTIONED TO THE MAN AND STITCHES FORMED AROUND HIS MOUTH, SEALING IT SHUT.

ASHE LOOKED AT THE MAN STILL STRUGGLING UPSIDE DOWN

ELLIE FLICKED HER WRIST AND THE VINE TOSSED THE MAN IN THE AIR. ELLIE CLOSED HER FINGERS IN A TIGHT FIST AND THE FINE WRAPPED AROUND THE MANS NECK. THE CAMERA SWITCHES TO ASHE’S EXPRESSION AS THE MAN WAS HUNG ON THE ROPE. ASHE CLOSED HIS EYES TIGHT AS WE HEAR THE MAN’S CHOKING GASP. ASHE SLOWLY OPENED HIS EYE’S AND LOOKED AT THE CORPSE HANGING ON THE VINE. HE SLOWLY TURNED TO LOOK AT ELLIE. ELLIE LOOKED AT ASHE AND SMIRKED, THEN TURNED AND WALKED AWAY. OPENING CREDITS ROLL.
SCENE ONE: ASHE IS STANDING OUTSIDE SAM’S HOUSE. HE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR

THE DOOR OPENS AND SAM IS STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM. HER HAIR IS MESSED UP AND SHE IS WEARING A LONG BAGGY SHIRT THAT IS WRINKLED

IN AN INSTANT SHE WAS GONE. ASHE LAY ON THE SOFA. HE LICKED THE BLOOD OFF HIS LIPS AND SAVORED THE TASTE FOR A MOMENT.
SCENE TWO: ASHE, ALEC, SAM, AND RICHARD ARE AT AN EVIL DEAD FOUR CAST PARTY. ASHE IS WEARING A BLACK DUSTER. HE IS PALE AND IS CONSTANLY COUGHING.

Yes, well...I talked to Steven and he said that since I was the first and best man casted for the lead role in Evil Dead Four, I deserved to be here

ASHE LOOKED AT MIA BEFORE RUNNING OVER TO THE NEXT DEMON. THE NEXT DEMON SWUNG AT ASHE. IT’S CLAWS SLICED INTO ASHE’S FACE. ASHE’S HEAD TURNED TO THE SIDE AS BLOOD FLOWED FROM HIS WOUNDS. SLOWLY, THE WOUND HEALED AND ASHE TURNED TO GLARE AT THE DEMON. THE DEMON STARED AT ASHE CURIOUSLY

DEMON GROWLED AND PUNCHED ASHE, SENDING HIM CRASHING TO THE GROUND, CRACKING THE FLOOR. THE DEMON YELLED AS IT JUMPED ON ASHE, PUNCHING AND CLAWING AT HIM. SEVERAL MORE PILED ON TOP OF ASHE AND THE FIRST DEMON. SUDDENLY THE PILE FLEW BACKWARDS IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. ASHE STOOD GLARING AT THE CROWD AROUND HIM. IN HIS HANDS, HE CLENCHED THE SHOULDERS OF THE FIRST DEMON. THERE WERE TWO BITE MARKS IN THE NECK OF THE DEMON. BLOOD DRIPPED FROM ASHE’S MOUTH. ASHE CLOSED HIS EYES, TILTED HIS HEAD BACK AND TOOK A DEEP BREATH. COLOR CAME BACK INTO HIS SKIN. ASHE LICKED HIS LIPS AND LOWERED HIS HEAD, GLARING AT THE OTHER DEMONS. EVERYONE STARED AT ASHE IN SHOCK. ONE DEMON HELD SAM BY THE NECK, ITS FIST PULLED BACK, READY TO PUNCH HER. IT PAUSED TO LOOK AT ASHE.

SHE LOOKED OVER HER SHOULDER AT ELIJAH. ELIJAH LIFTED HIS HAND AND A LARGE VORTEX FORMED BEHIND THEM. ELLIE MOTIONED TO THE DEMONS

THE DEMONS ALL RAN AND JUMPED INTO THE VORTEX. THE DEMON HOLDING SAM, DROPPED HER AND STEPPED INTO THE VORTEX. ELLIE LOOKED AT ASHE

ASHE LOOKED AT THE CORPSE OF A DEMON IN HIS HANDS. THERE IS AN EXPRESSION OF GUILT ON HIS FACE. ELLIE SMILED

ASHE LOOKED AT HER AS SHE TURNED TO FACE ELIJAH ONCE AGAIN. ELIJAH SMILED AT HER AND EXTENDED HIS HAND. SHE TOOK HIS HAND AND TOGETHER THEY STEPPED INTO THE VORTEX. IT DISAPPEARED ONCE THEY WERE THROUGH. RICHARD RAN OVER TO ASHE. HE LOOKED AT THE DEMON AND POKED IT A COUPLE TIMES

SAM GOT TO HER FEET, RUBBING HER NECK

ASHE GLANCED OVER AT RICHARD WHO WAS DANCING WITH THE DEMON CORPSE. HE LOOKED AT SAM ONCE AGAIN. CAMERA CLOSES ON ASHE’S FACE. HE GIVES SAM A LOOK, THEN WALKS OUT THE DOOR.
SCENE THREE: COLLEGE CAMPUS. ASHE IS STORMING DOWN A HALLWAY FOLLOWED BY SAM, ALEC, AND RICHARD. RICHARD IS PLAYING HIS GAMEBOY.

Richard, how did you get that? I smashed it in Greece

HE HOLDS UP THE GAMEBOY. IT HAS DUCT TAPE ON IT

ALEC RIPS THE GAMEBOY OUT OF RICHARD’S HAND AND THROWS IT OUT THE WINDOW. RICHARD STARES AT THE WINDOW, THEN AT ALEC IN SHOCK. ALEC GIVES RICHARD A LOOK, THEN CONTINUES TO FOLLOW SAM AND ASHE. CAMERA SWITCHES TO SAM AND ASHE.
