"... Newburgh specializes in dismissing its best assets"
"...let's not dismiss what ain't broke."

Agreed. ON both.

Newburgh does dismiss its best assets including its own people. It's always looking outward for help and dismissing its homegrowns who are more capable and compent. But Newburgh doesn't recognize cooperation as much as it sees competition in efforts to make things better or keep things good. All that does is break what's being fixed and destroys what's being built. That really needs to stop. It's caused a brain drain. Grads with ambition take off out of town before they take off the graduation gown. They see what happens when they try to better things. This really has to end.

You point out a great list of what's here. If only we could have more people using and enjoying and appreciating them.

But this board looks to be taking a turn for the positive. Really good stuff and not a bunch of whining so much. And there's debates and suggestions and information and open discussion. I'm guessing it ain't broke and neither are we. Especially in spirit.

YAY US!
