Genevieve Albrecht, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her home in Monticello. She was 83.

The daughter of the late Lester Yeomans and Lillian Soules Yeomans, she was born June 22, 1927 in Monticello.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Karl Albrecht, at home; two sons, Lester Jackson of Mongaup Valley and Timothy Albrecht and his wife, Yvonne of Monticello; two brothers, John Yeomans and his wife, Barbara of Monticello, and William Yeomans of Sherman, PA; her grandchildren: Andrea Catalano and her husband, Robert, and Randall Jackson and his wife, Teresa, all of Colorado, Bianca Rose Albrecht and Isabel Albrecht of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Muriel Cleveland; and a brother, Lester Yeomans.

Graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Forestburgh.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
