BONDS? Who would trust bonds issued by this city? There's no collateral. There's no accountability! There's nothing to say that the bonds will EVER be made good. The city's track record of misappropriation is just about its best grade.

In the 1950s it took a private Citizens' Committee to snatch it back from total destruction.

Check the history. Check the present.

Newburgh's looking for ANOTHER FREE HANDOUT! To give them a blank check is nothing different than being an "enabler". They'll piss it all away, never account for it honestly, default on all and paste the blame on something transparently stupid.

NO! It's past due the time when this STOPS!

Gangs move in and take over. Children are murderers. Per capita violent crimes baffle imagination. Structures are demolished. Tax exempts are running the real estate. Committees and commissions are pocketing funds and returning nothing.

I resent being taken for a complete ass hole!

Show me the Fiscal Responsibility FIRST! SHOW ME! THEN ask me for my help and support.

And I hope the idiots in City Hall are reading THIS "chatbox" because THIS is the God's honest truth and if it burns their asses it's only because they know it's the truth.
