Wow! You guys (and gals) really got to the point right in time. 4th of July with an Independence theme. On a board called the free voice of Newburgh. Those questions really are what we should have answers to and what we should focus on. And the point about the insignificant people is so right. Leave them where they belong, in the murky past. There's some really good stuff happening around here that doesn't make a lot of news and deserves better publicity. If it's OK to put one more question on the list I'm wondering if anybody has an opinion about just what it is that keeps holding Newburgh back. I mean there are really good people with great ideas for making this place so much better and a few are really involved with trying. But it seems like every time something gets going something or somebody kicks it out. Great advances get stopped before they get done. Why is that? Disappointment? No support? Exhaustion? If it means making a neighborhood better we should just keep going with it. We know somebody will fight against us so that should be part of the plan. But that doesn't mean we should stop. Am I right? We need new government but we have some great people. Let's use and appreciate what we have. The rest will follow naturally. Right?
