NPR radio reports that Newburgh has the highest murder rate and violent crime per capita in the country. That's not new. It was that way 50 years ago! It's what Newburgh has used as a source of pride!

Newburgh always makes the list of "10 Toughest Towns" to live in in the country. Newburgh uses that as a badge of honor!

NPR radio makes sure to mention that most people in Newburgh live below the poverty level. Whose fault is that? Most people's IQ in Newburgh is probably below the poverty level. The smart ones leave!

Why isn't anybody going after the landlords who rent to the gangs and criminals? I wonder how much if that housing has something to do with property bought by the "Newcomers". How many beautiful old houses were sold to that element by the big realtors in Newburgh? What ever happened to the promised renovations and revitaliztion of Newburgh?

With so many alleged "churches" in town where's all the so called "clergy" in all this? Christians? It looks like this kind of thing is what's being preached at the Newburgh pulpits. Look at the worst pockets in Newburgh count the "churches". Do the math.

Where are all the "committees" that are supposed to be working to make a better quality of life? A lot of them are funded by local donations and grants.

Where's the accountability?
