Mrs. Ewing, you can't really be that naive. You must know the people in Newburgh who'll kill to take the honors no matter what. They'll steal ideas to take the glory and all the while claim THEY had the idea first. They'll jump ahead and when they land they'll crush everybody who gets in the way. We know them by name and address. Some of them are our own natives and some are the transplants who came to take Newburgh by any means.

But in a case where it serves to benefit all, is it important WHO does the deed as long as it gets done? I don't think so.

Obviously those people can't come up with an original idea of their own. It's really very sad for them. They survive like parasites. The story is always the same.

The fact is that it should have been done by now but at least it's getting done at all. If they want to do the job, let them and the city can spend less on picking up what they leave behind.

Meanwhile those of us who care and have been cleaning our own streets without the publicity and fanfare will go on doing it just because we don't like living like trash surrounded by trash.

As for the other board it's a small private club unlike this board that's open to everybody. If people prefer the other board let them go there to be blocked or deleted because they're not members of the club.

Here's looking at cleaner streets at last.
