I am filled with hope for the future of pageantry in Washington. Even though Sami achieved success in a different system, her journey was an incredible testament to never giving up. She evolved into a remarkable and self-assured titleholder. Witnessing representatives from our system standing by her as competing girls was truly inspiring, the growth they achieved was evident. I believe in viewing Miss WA Volunteer as an opportunity for women to flourish and achieve.
I think we can all agree that the forever Volunteers for WA are an incredible group :) that Sami’s success stems from us too and we should celebrate that! Let's celebrate the fact that more volunteers are recruiting girls into scholarship organizations in Washington and everyone benefits from that, especially young women in Washington.
After all, the crown always finds the girl. It was said that Sami will be getting a masters in elementary education with her Volunteer Scholarship to continue to mentor and teach the 3rd grade (I think). That is something to celebrate!
Lastly, GO MADDIE! I know everyone is excited for you!
