"Cahoots"? That's an original twist. Why whould she be in cahoots when she would therefore be doomed to repeat the future as it obtains, not how she/they hope to change it? No comprende. The implied coda to the movie is that she will do all she can to obtain a sample to take back to her time so that an antitdote may be searched for so that humans may one day walk on the surface of the Planet. At least, that's what the movie implies throughout. Unless there is some hidden message in the movie that I somehow missed in six or seven viewings which you might be so good as to clarify.
