Exactly. And it is written SF that is the sine qua non of Science Fiction. SF, as I'm sure you know, can also mean Speculative Fiction and Science Fantasy as, increasingly, writers blur the lines with technomages and tlv living spaceships. In any event, esseff is what I prefer to scifi.
