The Lifters are Solid Mushroom Type. The Cam Lobes have a "valve rotator", basically a slight taper on the lopes to make the Lifter rotate, causing the pushrod to rotate. They shouldn't be too hard to remove, just hard to grab on to.

The Pistons cast '903' are probably just +.040 pistons made by an aftermarket company and the 903 designates their part number.

What are the casting numbers on the block & heads?
