All I know is the earlier SBC heads and the newer centerbolt style heads are the same, except for the 4 middle bolt holes on the intake manifold which are more vertical on the centerbolts than the earlier heads.

I reamed the holes out so that the intake could be bolted to the heads, and have no leaks. It's been done a thousand times before, so I figured I was safe. Basically I put a drill bit into the bolt holes and elongated the holes at an angle. I had another centerbolt head SBC motor in a '72 C-10 that had an Edelbrock intake and the same thing was done to that intake when I got it.

Anyway, I'm taking the intake to the swap, because I'd really like to swap it out for a more mild intake so I can run the 600cfm Holley, but if I don't sell it, then you got the dibs on it and I'll run the 2bbl cast iron intake and the 2GC I have...
