Subject: Engine suggestions for the Edsel....

Since Lisa had to have a Ford product, I have NO knowledge what-so-ever about what I should buy for this thing. The head is shot, or so it appears from first glance with at least two stuck valves and in need of a plane, and it has the 223cid I6. Doesn't really seam worth the $$$ to put a lot of machine work into this thing. since the outcome will be a whopping 145hp if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I'm looking for engine suggestions for a decent Ford V8 that is pretty common with a plethora of available parts and let's be reasonable here. No 427 SOHC suggestions or anything. I mean, come on...It's an Edsel. heheh
