We stay at Blind Pass Condos each year. Bowman's Beach is very nice, we always find some great shells. The condos do not offer bikes, you will have to rent those elsewhere, but the bike paths are wonderful. The condos are located on the end of the island closest to Captiva, which is away from most of Sanibel activities but we never have a problem. Our children are 8 and 12, so they are content for the time being to spend their day at the pool and beach. Last year we noticed that the condo assoc had put in a lot of new plantings in the wake of Hurricane Charley. There are new gas grills located near the pool. The grounds are always clean and it's a nice walk to the beach. Hope you have a great vacation.
