The shelling right now has been fabulous! I am just down the road and the surf has been rough and thus the shelling wonderful! I know that some people feel that some places are better than others, but each wave brings with it new shells. Just keep your eyes open! Rent bikes, and enjoy the island. June is a nice time to be here. You will probably get an afternoon 15 minute shower each day but it cools things down as it can get very muggy.The days are long which makes it even more enjoyable. I truly believe that no matter where you stay, Sanibel is wonderful!
