Never been in April, so not sure about the no-see-ums at that time. I know one June I got eaten alive - weird thing was my husband didn't get one bite!

As far as restaurants, my husband & I love to Ellington's for dessert. They have a live jazz band & it has a great atmosphere. The jazz is outstanding. The dinner is just too pricey for us. Dessert is a little pricey too. I think one dessert is like $12.

We also enjoy The Jacaranda. A very quiet restaurant. Then there is RC Otter's where we enjoy sitting outside & listening to the guitarist & eating key lime pie!

We will be in Sanibel for the first time in late
