I have hardly had a chance to piss the last few days, much less have time to write here.
I hope that this will change now, for much seems resolved.
Meg, has returned to me, for Aloysius has shown his true colors once more by fleeing back into the bottle and leaving the poor girl destitute and alone.
She made her way back here through the tower, but she is too quiet now, and has lost her happy smile.
Rizza has proven herself to be a decent servant, and still seems happy to be here. Perhaps she will help draw Meg out of her grief.
Both of the wolves are gone, both John and his pet. Perhaps he thought better of living with three women and a child way up here, but I never expected him to stay long.
I wonder how he will fare in this world not his own, but perhaps he shall find his way back to his own in time.
As for me, I intend to bask in the luxury of the peace of this place. My son is growing fast and is a constant source of joy for me. I speak with the twins occassionally, though their father does not know. It is our 'secret". I still mourn that I may not see their like faces for years to come, but I know they are learning what they must.
I intend to take a trip soon, to Rhy'Din, and see if I can unload that bloody orb. I see no rush to it, though I feel some urgency to relieve Indigo of the burden.
I also intend to travel next year, to see Saben, though I have not yet decided if I shall let him see me.
I would as well, like to visit Ciro's old home place and lay a rose on the grave of Willow and check on the condition of the old Camera del Grillo.
Such news as I can find of Ciro would be welcomed, though I feel in my heart that he is dead all these long years.
In essence, I am to retrace my steps, that years and time have faded.
Yet there is no rush, I have the freedom to do as I wish and when I wish.
The wound is yet too raw to seek news of Lucas and Nobi, so I do not add this to my wanderings. As well, my face still remains on many a poster, and I take great risk in visiting any populated place.
Still, I view the future with open eyes and a clear head, and I welcome what may come, whatever it may be.
