Hmmm... I'm never truly alone, so I think I would stay away from close attachments. I would allow myself to have friends, but never seek that "someone special" everybody seems to want to find. Given how odd my circumstances are, I'm not sure anyone would ever be able to relate to me anyway :P
If I did manage to find someone, there is no way I could ask them to give up their life to stay together.
