I think I could guarantee you that I would choose the sun quest route. I already live a life that is way more labor than pleasure so I can speak from my own personal experience on that.

It's an interesting question though, about how a long life would change our viewpoint on life and death. Would we get tired of life, tired of the grind, or could we reinvent ourselves over and over? Try something completely new? There's no way in a hundred years that we could do every career, try every option, at least not if we did it well.

I suspect that, much as in life for us today, it would depend on the circumstances. If we had a solid group of friends around to spend the time with, had something to do to occupy our minds and keep us busy, then an extremely long life could work out.
