I always thought of the mutants in Omega Man as humans that were more diseased rather than transformed such as ‘Vampires’. And although some reviews of I Am Legend described the mutants as vampires, I thought of them more like zombies that could move real fast. Guess I’m kinda picky on what a vampire is supposed to look like in movies. I can't remember if I've ever seen The Last Man On Earth (old age catching up on me), I'll check it out.
