Subject: Dark Question For 5/20

When a vampire crosses over into darkness, a permanent committment is made to total secrecy for the rest of eternity. To live in the shadows, without any further contact with the life you once knew before.

But when you leave the world...you're leaving behind friends and family as well. People who care about you. People you love. And 'forever' is a long time to promise to stay away from them.

The question is...if you became a vampire, would you ever go back to watch over your family in secret? Maybe see them grow old? Protect them from harm? Maybe look to see what the future generations of your family look like about 60 or 70 years down the line? Might be interesting. What do you think?
