Gray & Co., West Hartlepool) for the Ropner Shipping Co. Ltd. Torpedoed and sunk by U-552 130 miles off Bloody Foreland on the 10th June 1941 while sailing independently from Santos to the Tyne with a cargo of iron ore. 11 crew and 1 DEMS gunner killed.
