He was about to say something to the effect of, just because I did it before doesn't mean I liked it!, but he felt the argumentative side of him cease when Lenwar just tapered off.
Just tapered off? He's not the kind of guy-
"...I think I'm having a heart attack." was the next thing out of his mouth.
The first thing Jimmy did, and he'll admit it, wasn't so intelligent. His jaw dropped open, and he gaped. "What?!"
A full second later, however, he was bolting towards the door--not for his car door, like was intending to do if this got ugly, but the one to the house-- and he screamed over his shoulder, panicked.
" I'm callign an ambulance! Just hold on, honey!"
Funny how emergencies can make you forget how angry you are with someone.
A minute later, he stood outside the house again, cordless on hand and lamenting to the operator. God! He was terrified! Ha! HE as terrifed?! Think about Lenwar!!!
He held at his arm, pulling him to sit down on the steps. He didn't want him to fall and hit his head *while* having a heart attack...god, what was he supposed to do?!
He looked over at his husband, biting his lip and giving his arm a squeeze.
