I think I enjoyed it more than the premier too.

I found the stuff on the cyclon basestar far more interesting than I did last year. I put that down to it being less wishy washy mysticism and more politically driven. I especially enjoyed Cavil and I hope this isn't the last we see of him as I love the fact he's clearly a non believer.

I should probably note here I don't have any objections to the characters having religous beliefs, and I find the beliefs in themselves interesting, I just don't like the idea of the show being set in a universe where all of this stuff is demonstratably real. As in real life, I think it should be a question of faith, and nothing more.

Chip Gaius? Hysterical.

There was a definite sense of loss through out this episode for me both literal in the sense of Lee's leaving and foreshadowing the inevitable death of Laura.

I don't consider myself a Lee/Kara shipper, but I usually enjoy their scenes sans quad of doom and this ep was no exception. I fear a small part of me *is* a Lee/Kara shipper sometimes.

I loved the Adama and Roslin scene, the nastiness of it, even though it made me sad, cause Mom and Dad are fighting. :( It seemed very real though, that people in this high stress situation would snipe at each other like that.

My absolute favorite bit though? When Helo grabbed Lee's hand to take him over to the shots and then the hug. Slash! Thank you Ron!

I found the Gaius/Tory sex icky, but I think we were meant too, so have no actual objections to it.

All in all a much stronger episode than I would have expected from the infamous Mr Angeli.

Agreed.

I like how Helo grabbed Lee's hand too...but in my mind everybody must fancy Helo! ;- )
