I wasn't really thrilled by the episode. It has its moments but I couldn't help feeling that it was too easy. The jump-induced visions that made Laura's journey, the destruction of the hub, the final reunion...Besides I am not a big fan of Laura/Bill, it looks cheap and cliché. I was moved to tears by Saul/Ellen but Laura/Bill doesn't work for me.

I found Bill's waiting for Laura, alone in space, less convincing than Leoben doing exactly the same thing for Kara, a few weeks ago.

However I loved the Baltar/Roslin scenes from the beginning to the end. They work wonderfully together. I enjoyed the fact that after the last vision in which Laura had her "love someone" epiphany, she genuinely wanted to save Baltar and called him "Gaius". I think that the Laura/Gaius dialectics is much more interesting than the Laura/Bill romance.

And Baltar sounded more than ever like the hybrid: "don't do this to me, don't do this".

But my favourite scene ever was the Baltar/Centurion one. Priceless! I just love the Centurions.

Helo barely even blinked. In fact, I got the distinct impression he kinda does think he's married to the entire production line. This could actually be potentially fascinating, but I also got the impression they have no intention of doing anything with this, it was just a way to buddy up Helo and an eight for an ep.

I don't know...they seemed to set something up, especially now that Athena is sort of insane and in the brig. And there's the fact that Boomer escaped. I would be extremely disappointed if we didn't get a final Helo/Boomer scene some day. It must happen.

I though that line about being married to the entire cylon line by Madame President was rather cruel. She really can be heartless. I wonder how she will react when she finds who's been playing president.

But it made sense concerning her journey. She hadn't had her epiphany yet and Helo embodied, so she thought, what she was fighting against. She called him a sentimental and probably saw him as...a fool for love.

Of course eventually she herself turned into a sentimental !

In a way Elosha was her First Slayer providing the "Love is your gift" message...and it worked, she gave, forgave and loved.
