No, dammit, it's those goddam eco-saboteurs trying to save the place from getting gang-raped! Let's have more worthless butt ugliness and ruin everywhere, that'll drive property values down down. Oh No, wait a minute, that won't do it! What about the million homeless who would all move to Cortes if they found out how freakin' cheap it was! Yikes, back where we started, or maybe even worse!

Or maybe all the ugly logging and hatemongering already scared off all the rich bastards who tried to keep a few things running around here, like community halls and clinics and charities, shit like that. Or maybe they already gave all their millions to Jenksie so he'd just go away laughing, and now they're in the woodshed eatin canned beans like the rest of us?

Or maybe, just maybe that slick willie real estate developer guy thought twice about giving CAHS all that free CASH? Like why would he give you 7 acres and four houses for absolutely nothing, when he could just as easily make a million or two? Wow, he musta been Pope Benedict and you was Mother Teresa for a minute there!

Or maybe it's just all fucking hopeless now, coz good ol' MacBlo sold it all to Whacko who sold it all to some outfit hiding in the Bahamas, so now we can't sue them sleazy tax dodging feudal lords for neglect of the homeless? And it's ALL OUR FAULT! Oh Woe! We little old bad ass Cortesians made MacBlo mad one day and they just up and vanished into thin air! Shame on US!
