Subject: Jenks Clearcut Subdivided

Looks like the Jenks Clearcut has been Subdivided.

So much for protecting Forest lands and Forest Jobs on the island.

The Land was Bought By Real-Estate Speculators pretending to care about Cortes Forests and the Community. Not a single tree was planted. Now the islands Heavily Diseased Hemlock trees are taking over.

Are the owners cashing in and fleeing the island?

Where's Barry Saxifrage or Tzeporah Berman or the Friends of Cortes to protest this.
Oh it must be friends. Do they have A Conflict of interest here.
Will they help market it? Cortesisland.com is.

The Clearcut was subdivived below minimun lot size for the forestry zone, without a public hearing or community imput.

Did someone pad a few hands at the Regional District to accomplish this?

Pretending to Save the clearcut/forest while planning how to get Pockets full of cash from them.

Are more forest land subdivisions coming? Shopping Mall Money is taking over the island. Will we get a Walmart soon.

When is "Enough Enough" "Martha" I remember you asking that at the Jenks Forest meeting. Now look in the mirror!
