Years ago, I had to tell an authority figure of a serious eating disorder of someone on my team - it was really hard and I knew that I risked her friendship and anger. It was worth it because this person was very sick and ultimately went to a facility, became healthy and later thanked me publicly, which I never asked for nor wanted. I say that because it shouldn't really matter WHO blew the top off, what matters is that if this is a situation where someone really needed help, they are getting it - no matter who the whistleblower is. I would hope that years from now, when those involved are sober and not dealing with addictions (or hopefully it prevented getting to that point), that the right people are thankful. -- The Texas Beauty Shop
