I don't feel bad about the bashing, but what does make me mad is they don't have their facts straight. The child they are bashing wasn't even in the State Pageant and if they don't agree with the mom being a director they should be big enough to say something to the director or the mom, not bash the child and system. They had no problem with the mom being a prelim director and her child competing in the system when their child was winning, but now that their child did not win it seems to be an issue. If they don't like the way the system is run they don't have to come back, but the one's who are big enough to take the losses with the wins will continue to compete. I heard one child say even though she didn't win she still wanted to compete in ACM because she enjoys it and likes seeing her friends, and her mother is going to let her compete because it is about the child, not the mom. Both this mom and child are what I would call grown up.

- Some people do talk at pageants. But it is not always meant in the way it is taken. All of us see things we do not think are right and may talk about them after the pageant. That doesn't not always have to mean that we are angery or upset. Venting is just that . You can sit and vent without being angery. However some take it in other ways as they do not understand this. Some are new to pageants and do not understand that some vent and then move on. A group of Moms can sit and talk , discuss , what ever without it being in anger. So before you concider that the Moms talking about how they feel the pageant went , remember this. Comments are not always bashing but just comments. So maybe before you make judgements you should get to know how pageants can be and how some Moms deal with them. Also I truely feel that if something is not right at a pageant anyone has the right in say so in a group of woman who are also saying things they do not agree with.
