Ok, we have been doing pageants for a couple of years, and after just two pageants with Americas Classic Miss, I have decided that I really love this system. For those of you who are judging by this board, I encourage you to try this pageant system. If I thought in any way that the system was unfair I would not have entered my daughter in state, after only taking a princess title at regionals! The director is very caring and willing to hear anyone�s concerns- I know this from experience. She is encouraging and loves the kids. There are always going to be unhappy moms. Ladies, the children can't all win! I admit to being a sounding board to some venting at the pageant. I am always willing to listen. I also admit to being surprised at some of the outcomes, because of what I knew about one contestant, and did not know about another, however I in no way hold the director responsible for what the judges decided. No pageant system is perfect. Please, ladies, your children cannot win all the time. Move on- we all have to at some point. You vented and now it is just time to move forward. Please don't take this one pageant personally. If I took it personally every time my daughter didn't win, I would have stopped going to pageants two years ago! Please stop the bashing! This behavior is inappropriate and not the example that we should be setting. Oh, and my name is Joni Robbins if anyone wants to know. I have lived in several states and attended many pageants. I definitely recommend this one!

Some people do talk at pageants. But it is not always meant in the way it is taken. All of us see things we do not think are right and may talk about them after the pageant. That doesn't not always have to mean that we are angery or upset. Venting is just that . You can sit and vent without being angery. However some take it in other ways as they do not understand this. Some are new to pageants and do not understand that some vent and then move on. A group of Moms can sit and talk , discuss , what ever without it being in anger. So before you concider that the Moms talking about how they feel the pageant went , remember this. Comments are not always bashing but just comments. So maybe before you make judgements you should get to know how pageants can be and how some Moms deal with them. Also I truely feel that if something is not right at a pageant anyone has the right in say so in a group of woman who are also saying things they do not agree with.
