There is a battle for our minds, and we cannot stop that, but we can prevent it from taking over. I love the passage in Phil. 4:8,9 that tells us to meditate on whatever is worthy of awe and adoration; the sacred as opposed to the profane. There is a promise in that passage if we apply the truth, "The God of peace will be with you." Awww, the beauty of that truth.
