I must tell you, I have almost been attacked by upset moms and dads. It's my opinion and only my opinion it's not the end of the world or life altering. Not every child is a 10 but they are all beautiful...remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The very sad part is the parents are causing all the fuss in front of their children, now that is not right.

In the 6 large pageants we have seen everything from a couple of moms going off to other moms right behind the director yelling that their child did not get judged right, to being at a pageant where all the moms just took their score sheets, glanced at the master and went their merry way. I personally look at the master to see where we need to improve also. I can gauge my daughter's scores based on how I THINK my daughter did to how the judges thought she did compared to the one(s) who won over her did. I definitely don't get upset at anybody but myself wondering what I could have done differently with my child to make her do better. The moms I see who get upset at the judges and the director are also the ones who are yelling at their girls after each time on stage and before going on, VERY PATHETIC in my opinion. One time we did this charity pageant and they had 3 judges at 2 tables my daughter was under 2 anyway while my daughter was the 1st table the girl ahead of her was at the 2nd table and she had a radio on so she could dance well my daughter was so fixated on that music she didn't even look at the judges at the first table all she did was say Bye then we went to second table and she did great she was so cute and a little ham she ended up getting 3rd place . -- Anonymous, 15:39:29 11/13/07 Tue [1]
