This photo was published on 5th July, fourteen days before the final night. Miss Brazil Teresinha Morango who will participa at Miss Universe 1957, visited the Senate yesterday, where she was, in the afternoon, in the company of Senator (Amazon) Cunha Melo. In the office of the president of that legislative house, Miss Morango was introduced to all the senators present, with whom she talked and drank guarana from their land. Mr. Apolonio Sales greeted her and Mr. Cunha Melo, praising her beauty, hoping she would win in Long Beach. The photo, which justifies the classic caption, was taken when Teresinha Morango, the beauty, was embraced by Mr. Apolonio Sales.
