This photo was published on 21st October, one day after the final night. Miss Venezuela, Susana Djuim, second from right, wore the crown of Miss World as she congratulated her runner-up, Miss U.S.A., Margaret Anne Haywood, left, from Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the conclusion of the contest in London last night. Miss Greece, Julia Koumoundourou, right, finished third, and Miss Cuba, Gilda Marin, background, finished fourth. Miss World 1955 is a photographer’s model and won $1,400 and a car.
