This photo was published on 3rd July, seventeen days before the final night. Miss Japan, Yoshie Baba (right), will represent her country in the Miss Universe contest starting July 12th in Long Beach, California, poses with Miss Washington, June Svedin (left). Miss Japan is the first foreign contestant to arrive here.
