This photo was published on 12th July, eight days before the final night. Four beauties dressed in costumes of their native land pose at the airport at Long Beach, California, after their arrival to seek the Miss Universe beauty title. The winner wiil be picked next Friday. From left to right, Miss Belgium, Lucienne Auquier; Miss Canada, Elaine Bishenden; Miss Puerto Rico, Paquita Vivo and Miss Italy, Rossana Galli.
