27 of the Top 30 delegates were chosen by panelists based on their performances in past challenges. (READ: LIST: Who won the Miss Universe Philippines challenges?)

Rounding out the Top 30 were three candidates who counted the highest number of fan votes from August 22 to August 31 on the Miss Universe Philippines app.

The pageant started out with 100 delegates from around the country. The batch was narrowed down to 75, and then to 50.
