This photo was published on 24th July, one day after the final night. Miss U.S.A., Miriam Stevenson (centre) was chosen as Miss Universe 1954. She is with her runners-up. From left to right, Miss Hong Kong, Virginia June Lee was the second runner-up (3rd place); Miss Brazil, Marta Rocha was the first runner-up (2nd place); Miss Germany, Regina Ernst was the third runner-up (4th place) and Miss Sweden, Ragnhild Olausson was fourth runner-up (5th place).
