This photo was published on 10th October 1957, four days before the final night. Miss Canada, Judy Welch (right) and Sir Cullum Welsh, Lord Mayor of London, enjoy the cupid antics of Miss Greece, Nana Casparatou (left), during reception for Miss World 1957 contestants at Mansion House, London, England. The international beauty queens, each wearing national costumes at the reception, will compete for the Miss World 1957 title at London’s Lyceum ballroom Monday. Miss Welch is 21; Miss Casparatou is 19.
