Pamela doesn't want to tell Casey, because she really doesn't want him to go off and get himself in terrible trouble, nor does she expect that Jamie will deal with it either- she's just trying to limit damage in the moment. She has her hands full with the resulting pregnancy, etc. Her love and life with Casey is so brand new that it's still fragile, so she chooses not to tell him. Of course, as is often the way, he finds out anyway and the result is a bit of a mess, though it puts them in a better place ultimately. -- Cindy's Cottage
