I don't think my opinion of Peg or Brian has changed. I think Peg learned from what she did and truly did try to make amends to Arthur for what had happened. I do think, too, that in the heat of the moment people do things they would not have under different circumstances. Peg had spent all her life unable to get over Brendan and was now faced with a man who not only reminded her of him, but talked about him and the fact that Brendan had held a torch for Peg despite marrying elsewhere. -- Cindy's Cottage

Oh, and on the Siddy issue. I think some people truly are better off apart. Siddy and Peg had no connection from the beginning, so there was really no relationship for them to try and heal.
