Subject: I don't know as Jamie really does love her. I think it's more a bit of the "black dog" setting in - realizing that he let a good thing get away and he's just lashing out at Pamela b/c he's angry & frustrated with himself. As for the divorce >>>(spoiler inside)>>>

Why does Jamie tell Pamela he got a divorce and then tell Casey (chpt 33) one of the reasons he didn't marry Pamela is b/c he's, "already married...more from a lack of effort at getting a divorce"? IMHO I think Jamie's more honest about his feelings during his conversation with Casey than here with Pamela.
