Subject: (56-3) I'm not surprised to see a seal come to Casey's rescue. Cindy's love of animals seems to surface frequently in her books, often showing ethereal or other-worldly qualities. In this case, I can almost believe a seal might behave this way. They are inquisitive creatures and show an interest in humans. Several times I've had encounters with seals where they played about near DH and myself just as curious about us as we were about them. (56-4) Yes, the imagery is strong, as it always is with Cindy's writing, and having the tension ease is a welcome respite.
