Subject: Wow - am I first? I think that Pamela and Casey both put themselves at risk unnecessarily at times (like in the last question - I want to smack them both sometimes!) and it does cause tension between them. It's like "I'm the one that's supposed to be the hero here" or something like that. Re the second question, I'm still somewhat confused as to who all the players are and who was part of what. I should read up on Irish history to have a better idea, but people like Constable Fred, Brian, and especially Jamie, do give one hope!

  • 66.2) It does give me faith to know there are good people on both sides of the conflict working for peace without violence. It has still taken YEARS but it's always uplifting to know there are a few who believe and don't give up. A little side note/quesion: I was curious what the big deal was regarding the RUC finding out she met with William Bright? Aren't they basically on the same side? Also, why does it take Constable Fred seeing Casey to decide to accept Pamela's accident explanation? Surely the Constable knew who her husband was before, if he was her link yea? • Great questions Marilyn. Come out, come out Miss Cindy! (NT) -- JaneH, 10:43:19 10/15/07 Mon
  • Constable Fred wasn't the direct link, no. But he did know Brian in some aspect. It wouldn't be good if they knew she'd met with William Bright because William Bright didn't want it known they'd met. He's playing both sides of the court here and doesn't want to get found out by anyone other than his direct henchmen, who are now dead anyway. Does that make sense? All the sun has gotten to my brain. :) (NT) -- celtgirl, 10:12:51 10/16/07 Tue
