Subject: 67.1) People give off a lot of silent signals. You just have to pay a little attention and you can learn a lot about a person before he even opens his mouth. Over the years I've learned to trust my feelings, just like a Jedi. ;-) (67.2) I wonder if Wm. Bright is sitting on a lot of incriminating information or evidence that could nail a lot of important people. He's got to have something in his back pocket for leverage, if so many other members of the Brotherhood have been offed and he's still breathing.

  • (67.3) The ring is a subtle form of identification. Only another member of the Brotherhood would even know what to look for. It would be a means to separate out the people you can trust (at least to a point) and those you cannot trust. (67.4) Oh yeah, I'm glad that people can't read me completely. I'm afraid they'd think I was really off the deep end! We don't have much privacy anymore in our culture, but thank God at least my thoughts are mine alone unless I care to share them.
