I don't think kids are Glee's target. It is mostly aimed at older teens and adults.

That said, I don't think this episode was bad. It showed 3 couples in very different situations deciding about sex. Two of the 3 thought they wanted to but wisely decided they weren't ready. The third went through with it and regretted doing so because he didn't have feelings for the girl.

My co-worker watches with her high school kids and she said they commented on how uncomfortable those scenes were- I think that was the point. If a parent was watching with a kid, I think it could be a lead in to a very valuable discussion.

I also found it very interesting that Finn lied and said he didn't have sex cause he regretted it, and _____(the dark-haired girl who's name has left me) lied and said she did. So even though she knew she wasn't ready and didn't do it, she felt like she had to say she did. Once again very good material for a parental discussion (and it may be easier to discuss character motivation than personal).

I love the campy-ness of the show. It is very enjoyable, even the weeks when I am not fond of the music.
