Hello Peers,

While reading this text I found very interesting when they mentioned the term genre-based approach, and the importance of teaching about genres, into educational programmes (page 187). Sometimes I think we teachers fail to provide our students with the notion of genre, maybe because we don´t think it is so important for their writing and speaking process or maybe because we are "unaware of the different genres employed across the curriculum..." (page 189) Do you agree)
